In order to search, download and convert videos from multiple websites the d0wnl0ader application has been setup in the following manner.

The main screen of the application contains 3 views:

1) Website section
2) Browser section
3) Results section   

Below you will find information on how each of these relate to the other.

This is the header of the downloader application.  From left to right, these are what the icons are and what they do. 
 

  • Search box: Place in your keywords to search videos (check a website to search!) 
  • Book Icon: This is the playlist grabber feature discussed below
  • Green Arrow: This is the "Go" button to start your text box search
  • Tools Icon: This is the global settings for all options of the program
  • Browser Icons: These are back, forward, refresh, and stop to use with the browser
     

Book Icon:  When clicking this icon, you will be prompted to select a text file containing a list of keywords.  This feature is best used to find a music playlist. The software will search your checked websites (in the website section) for all the keywords you have listed here and find the appropriate video to download and convert! It's very accurate when you have a site with a large number of videos such as youtube. 

Tools Icon: When clicking this icon you will be prompted with the global options of the program. You can set the following defaults:
 

  • Location to save files
  • Default media format
  • Number of results to get per website checked
  • Safe Search off, will allow adult videos to be viewed.

This is the Web Site Section of the application. Here you will be able to add and remove domains by right clicking and typing in a URL.  You may add and check multiple web sites / domains.  Once you have made selections, the application will search, download and convert media from all selected sites.

This is the Browser Section of the application.  You can navigate to any web page using the url bar and selecting "Go".  Once you have found a video you want to download, just click the "Add To List" button and the application will add the video URL to the Results Section for further processing.

This is the Results Section of the application.  The URL / File Name / Size / Status / Convert headers let you know what each item is doing and the history.  Here you can:

  • Right click to download and convert multiple listings.
  • Remove video Listings
  • Stop current downloading
  • Convert selected videos to .Avi, .Mp4, .Mp3, .Mov, .Wmv or None

*Trace URLs option - Incase the application does not find the correct video file for download, you may select "Trace Download Url" which will force the software to look again for the correct video on that page.
